This year, the Travel South USA International Showcase took place in Kansas City, Missouri. It proved once again to be an inspiring and highly productive conference, where new partnerships were formed and existing relationships grew even stronger.
Benelux delegation
A strong delegation from the Benelux traveled to Kansas City under the guidance of our colleague Rianne van der Linden. For some attendees, it was their first time participating in the Showcase; for others, returning to the Travel South region felt like a familiar and welcoming return.

Marketplace
Before the Marketplace sessions began, the Benelux delegation had the chance to explore some of Kansas City’s most iconic highlights. Delegates immersed themselves in the city’s rich cultural and culinary scene, experienced its famous jazz heritage, visited top attractions, and discovered why Kansas City is known as the Barbecue Capital of the World. Others explored the vibrant neighborhoods, local arts scene, and the famous Arrowhead Stadium – home of the Kansas City Chiefs, and one of the World Cup 2026 venues.
The event officially kicked off at the Midfield Theater, where the Opening and Honors Night took place. This impressive venue set the tone for an inspiring and energetic week, bringing together delegates, partners, and suppliers to celebrate achievements and the strong partnerships within the Travel South region.
Over the two-day Marketplace, attendees participated in 30+ one-on-one meetings with suppliers from across the Travel South region. Conversations focused heavily on new opportunities in the region.
This year’s TSISC concluded in true Kansas City style with a lively closing celebration at No Other Pub, located in the bustling Power & Light District. Delegates enjoyed an evening of entertainment, local flavors, and great company in one of the city’s most dynamic nightlife areas.
The following morning, attendees departed for their selected FAM tours, ready to explore yet another Travel South state and further deepen their knowledge of the region.

TSISC 2026 & 2027
During the Showcase a special preview was given of next year’s International Showcase host: Nashville, Tennessee. The location for 2027 edition has also been announced already, and will take place in Norfolk, Virginia.
