This year the Travel South USA International Showcase took place in Atalanta, Georgia. It again has been a very effective and inspirational Showcase, where new connections have been made, and existing connections grew stronger. Atlanta shared the best of Southern hospitality during the 4-day showcase.
Benelux delegation
This year another large delegation from the Benelux traveled to the Travel South region under the guidance of our colleague Rianne van der Linden. For some it was the first time attending this event in the Travel South region, for others, it felt very familiar.

Marketplace
Prior to the Marketplace sessions, all attendees, including the Benelux delegation, explored one of the many highlights that Atlanta has to offer. Amongst other things, the delegation got active during a bicycle tour, discovered local art in Cabbbagetown, visited famous film locations and got a tast of Atlanta’s craft beer scene. The opening night celebration was at the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the United States.
During the 2-day marketplace all attendees had 35 one-to-one meeting with the various suppliers from the Travel South region. There was a large focus on looking ahead to the future, and the continuous increase in visitor numbers to the region. Another big topic was the online platform Tourism Exchange USA, where many local tours, attractions and accommodation are bookable by suppliers. The Travel South states are leading in this.
This years’ TSISC was wrapped up in style, at one of many live music venues in the vibrant West Midtown. The following day all delegates were sent on their way to explore another Travel South state of their choice, while taking part in one of the well-organized FAM tours.
Travel South USA Ambassador
During the Honors Night 26 touroperators received the Ambassador Award, three of which are from the Benelux. We would like to congratulate once more our three newest Ambassadors: AmerikaNu.nl, Connections and Joker Reizen.

TSISC 2025
