Target Travel Marketing proudly participated in the 30th edition of the International Roundup (IRU), held in the iconic western town of Medora, North Dakota. Organized by the Great American West states and RMI, the annual event continues to connect international travel trade professionals with partners from Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming through a combination of marketplace appointments and immersive regional experiences.
This year’s Benelux delegation included six travel professionals from both Belgium and the Netherlands:

Throughout the event, the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt was ever-present in Medora, a destination deeply connected to the former president’s time in North Dakota. One of the highlights of the week was an exclusive sneak peek of the brand-new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, which is set to officially open on July 4, 2026. The highly anticipated project will become a major new attraction for the region and offers visitors a unique insight into Roosevelt’s life, leadership, and conservation legacy.
In addition to the two-day marketplace, delegates explored the dramatic landscapes and authentic western atmosphere that make North Dakota such a unique destination within the Great American West. From the rugged beauty of Theodore Roosevelt National Park to Medora’s cowboy culture and hospitality, the program provided plenty of inspiration for future itineraries and collaborations.
The Benelux delegation also participated in pre- and post-FAM trips throughout North Dakota and Wyoming, allowing them to experience the region first-hand and gain deeper product knowledge to bring back to their clients and audiences.
