The past week, our team has been on the road, representing several of our U.S. destination partners at travel trade and consumer events in the Netherlands and Belgium.
First up was the Visit USA Netherlands Roadshow, with events in Arnhem and Leiden. Two unique locations, in two different cities. The yearly Roadshow event brought together U.S. destinations and travel brands with Dutch travel professionals for networking, product updates and destination inspiration. During both days, we represented Kansas City, Utah, the Great American West and Oklahoma City, sharing the latest news and helping agents expand their knowledge of these destinations.
On the weekend we travelled to Mechelen, Belgium, for the reisbeurs of U.S. specialist tour operator Joker. Here, the focus shifted from the travel trade to consumers looking for inspiration and advice for their next journey. On behalf of Oklahoma City, Travel South USA, the Great American West and Utah, we spoke with travellers about the many possibilities for exploring the United States, from city breaks and national parks to classic American road trips.
