In March, the representatives of the states of Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming will be in the Netherlands for a Sales Mission. From March 22 to 25, the states will once again conduct various activities led by Target Travel Marketing (TTM). The last time the states were in the Netherlands was 5 years ago, in November 2018.
On their first day they will see a beautiful part of the Netherlands in the heart of Amsterdam. Thursday March 23 they will meet with tour operators and key media in the beautiful Jakarta Hotel in Amsterdam. During this day, sessions of 1.5 hours are planned in which they ‘speed date’ with the invitees. This gives tour operators and media the opportunity to speak to the states separately and to brainstorm about new routes, highlights, collaborations, etc.
On Friday 24 March, independent travel agents will have the unique opportunity to attend live training sessions of the states at the Bisonspoor Business Center in Maarssen. The workshops start at 9:30 am and end at 12:30 pm. Afterwards there is a catered lunch. During each workshop, one of the representatives will speak and they will receive the latest news, necessary information and inspiration for routes through the region. A prize draw will be held to win great prizes from the region.

The Great American West
Since 2001, Target Travel Marketing represents The Great American West in the Benelux. The Great American West promotes the states of Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming internationally. In addition to daily contacts with the press and trade, Target Travel Marketing also distributes brochures to consumers. Over the years many press trips have been arranged to The Great American West and many tour operators have already been able to get acquainted with the states during the annual International Roundup (IRU). In addition, participation in fairs, workshops and agent days in the Benelux are provided. The website www.greatamericanwest.nl and Facebook page are actively maintained.
