Target Travel Marketing is proud to welcome Visit Kansas City as a new client for the Dutch market. Following a successful sales mission in the Netherlands, the destination has generated strong interest among travel trade and media partners. Several tour operators, travel agents, journalists, and media outlets have already expressed interest in collaborations, content projects, and new product development featuring Kansas City.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the horizon,Kansas City is uniquely positioned to benefit from increased global attention. As an official host city, and with the Dutch national team scheduled to play a group match and use the city as its basecamp, interest from the Dutch market has grown significantly. This presents a strong opportunity to position Kansas City not only as a host city, but as a destination worth exploring before, during, and long after the tournament.
Through this representation, Target Travel Marketing will act as a local point of contact, supporting Kansas City with evaluating and coordinating incoming opportunities, advising on strategic partnerships, and managing communication with local partners. Activities may include media collaborations, trade campaigns, events, activations, and workshops, as well as representation at trade and consumer events.
This approach complements the existing Travel South USA partnership while unlocking new opportunities tailored specifically to Kansas City. Target Travel Marketing has successfully delivered similar projects for destinations such as Explore Louisiana, New Orleans & Company, and Nashville CVC.
We look forward to strengthening Kansas City’s presence in the Dutch market and building long-term partnerships with the travel trade and media.
