Hans received the award for WideOyster Magazine’s digital American South publication. The publication brings the Travel South region to life through high-quality articles, impressive photography and storytelling. Five long-read articles cover the entire region, from Louisiana’s Cajun Country to the coastlines of the Carolinas. The publication also highlights several lesser-known cities and natural areas. It is a region best explored via its backroads and byways.
Strong results
The stories did more than inspire readers. Together, the articles were read by 451,385 people, while the overall campaign reached 1.4 million people.
These results demonstrate the impact that high-quality editorial storytelling can have when introducing travellers to a diverse region. Rather than simply presenting destinations, the WideOyster publication gives readers the stories, people and experiences behind them.
