On Thursday, August 29, a reception was held as Hanny Fluit bade farewell as CMO of Target Travel Marketing. Over 50 colleagues from the travel industry had traveled to the Business Center in Bisonspoor in Maarssen, where Target’s offices are also located. Together they thanked Hanny for 30 years of dedication to the industry, 20 of which at Target Travel Marketing.
AI in the spotlight
We also looked to the future, with AI in tourism as theme. An inspiring session on the application of Generative AI was held by guest speakers Xander and Wytze from Part Of The Narrative. The potential of AI tools and how they can enrich daily tasks and travel experiences were discussed in detail.

After 30 years of dedication and leadership within both Target Travel Marketing and the travel industry, Hanny Fluit chose to take a new path. During the corona pandemic, she started her bachelor’s degree as Psychosocial Therapist and volunteered at the 113 Suicide Prevention line. As a result, in addition to her passion for travel, a new interest in counseling blossomed. A dream she will now pursue at Lyra Wellbeing.
